The Lucknow university which was founded in 1867, is one of India’s oldest universities. The foundation of it was laid by Raja Sir Mohammad Ali Mohammad Khan, Khan Bahadur, K.C.I.E. of Mahmudabad. It is affiliated to University Grants Commission; Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU); Association of Indian Universities (AIU); Distance Education Council (DEC). Other accreditations include National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC); National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE); Bar Council of India (BCI). It was affiliated to UGC in the year 1921. It offers undergraduate and post-graduate degrees. The university is inviting candidates to apply for M.Ed.
M.Ed Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have completed either of the following courses can apply B.Ed, B.A, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.El, B.Ed and D.El.Ed. An LT diploma or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate from a University established by law and recognized by the University Grants Commission is also allowed.
Applicants whose B.Ed. examination results have been declared before the last date of the online application process of the University of Lucknow will be eligible for admission to the M.Ed. program.

Lucknow University M.Ed Selection Process
Duration of the test is 3 hours
Mental Ability comprises of 100 objective type questions of 1 mark each.
Competence test comprises 80 objective type questions of 1 mark each.
Questions will be based on the B.Ed syllabus of the university. This section comprises of 10 short answer questions of 2 marks each.
Language Comprehension (Hindi & English) checks the language understanding of the candidate. Candidate needs to attempt both the languages. The section is of 50 marks in total.
The interview will take place to check the subject knowledge, teaching ability and personality of the candidate.
