AIIMS MBBS Admission 2019: Final registration started

AIIMS, popularly known as All India Institute of Medical Sciences was established by an Act of Parliament of 1956. The Institute awards its own medical degrees, diplomas and academic distinctions. These degrees are awarded by the Institute under the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Act. It is rated as one of the best medical universities across India. The official website has now issued a final registration call to apply for MBBS registration exam.

Candidate should have qualified 10 +2 from a recognized board or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as compulsory subjects

Selection criteria

Admission to MBBS program is based on the merit of AIIMS MBBS 2019 and counseling.

Duration of the course

The course of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences lasts for a minimum of five and a half academic years including one year’s compulsory internship.

Notes to remember before applying

Applying candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission (2019).

The Entrance Examination for All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and six other AIIMS for the session 2019 will be conducted through Online Computer Based Test (CBT) Examination.

Applicants may familiarize themselves with the method of Examination by taking the Mock Test available on the website after uploading of Admit Card.

Applicants must be prepared to appear in the Examination in either of the shifts. The Competitive Entrance Examination will have one paper consisting of 200 Objective Type (Multiple Choice and Reason-Assertion type) questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Knowledge/Aptitude.

The language of the question paper

The question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice of candidates. Applicants must choose/indicate in the application form whether he/she prefers to have the question paper in English or Hindi. This choice cannot be changed later at any stage.
